Sam Daniel's Profile

Sam has lived in Alaska most of his life, growing up in Seward. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and had careers in commercial fishing (Cook Inlet and Bristol Bay) and volunteer management. He got his start in real estate as a property manager/stay-at-home dad in the 90s, fishing in the summers and staying home with kids in the winters for 10 years.  

Sam was the Broker owner of Glacier City Realty. He owned and operated Girdwood Property Management Inc., Next Home Glacier City Realty, and Glacier City Realty, Inc. for over 25 years. He holds several professional designations through the National Association of Realtors (NAR), including Accredited Buyer Specialist (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Records Institute (GRI), and as a Senior Residential Educational Specialist (SRES).

He is a proud grandfather, dad to three grown children, an avid sports touring motorcyclist.  He enjoys the outdoors, his dogs, scuba diving, and being of service to others, both as a Realtor and a volunteer.
